In this role, you will:

• Improve the learning experience on the platform by understanding, defining and eliminating pain points. Come up with creative solutions that meet user objectives and address business goals.
• Understand user needs and motivations, analyse competitors and be well informed on industry design trends
• Work on product navigation and architecture for a more intuitive navigation experience
• Create and share wireframes and medium fidelity designs for testing and gathering feedback

The Author Acquisition Representative will play a pivotal role in Educative’s hypergrowth sourcing third party authors - published book authors, bloggers, and renowned experts in their fields.

In this role you will:

• Work with your manager to identify leads
• Send cold emails and perform outbound prospecting activities to engage those leads
• Answer prospect questions via email and pre-qualify them as potential authors
• Hand off warm prospects to the Lead of Author Acquisition
• Nurture and grow your lead pipeline to convert cold leads into warm prospects over time

In addition to managing the outbound motion for author acquisition, you will be the initial point of contact for inbound leads. You will explain our business model, content creation process, market differentiators, and more to these potential authors.
